Dr. Gastón de la Garza trained in hair transplants in 1991, under the guidance of great pioneers of this technique, such as Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Rassman and Dr. Bob Limer. As a result of this experience, he introduced these techniques in Mexico and later, incorporating the latest technical advances, Gardel Hair Restoration Institute was founded in 1994 as a clinic specializing in hair transplants.
Gardel Hair Restoration Institute team, since its foundation, kept abreast of new research on techniques for the treatment of problems related to hair loss. In 1998, an international group of experts (I.S.H.R.S.) set about the task of compiling what would become the fundamentals of a revolutionary technique called ‘follicular transplantation’. From that moment on, follicular transplantation became popular in the United States, Canada and all of Europe, and is still considered the best option for hair transplantation today.

Our technical staff in hair transplantation is made up of nurses with subspecialty in hair transplantation; they are in charge of carrying out the delicate activity, under the microscope, of obtaining follicular units. These units are then inserted into micro-orifices created in the bald areas, with the direction, angle and depth necessary for a completely natural appearance.
